Dr. Campbell is a licensed psychologist in the State of Texas, a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and a Center for Credentialing Approved Clinical Supervisor. Over her 40 years in the mental health field, she has been in private practice, worked in agencies and schools, has been on the faculties of the University of Houston and the University of Houston-Clear Lake as well as a Visiting Assistant Professor at George Washington University.

Her workbook titled Becoming an Effective Supervisor: A Workbook for Counselors and Psychotherapists (2000) based on her experiences teaching a 40-hour course on clinical supervision has become a must-have resource for clinical supervisors who provide supervision for licensure or internships. Her new book, Essentials of Clinical Supervision (2006) part of the prestigious Essentials of Mental Health Practice series from John Wiley, gives a practical overview of information and techniques of use to new as well as experienced supervisors.

For the past seven years, Dr. Campbell has been presenting seminars on clinical supervision across the country where she is well known for her sense of humor and the ability to provide participants with a substantial number of practical ideas and useful techniques for supervision.
